Before finding The Boathouse Hair Rooms, we were originally looking at much bigger project. Bigger means more expensive and is ultimately reflected on the price list of the salon.
Then along came Atlas place and we thought, what if we could still give the same service, without all the showboating ( pardon the pun) and keep the costs low and affordable for everyone to enjoy! And so our compact but well equipped Hair and Beauty salon was created.
The salon is close to the School and St Mary’s Island community centre and we hope to become involved as part of the community and help to support other small businesses in the area and local residents.
I have spent my entire career working within the Hairdressing industry, from salon work to teaching students NVQ standards in an academy. I have a real passion for Hair and this is reflected in my work.
I really enjoy the social aspects of my job and I treat my guests as I would expect to be treated myself. Nothing stirs my soul more than a challenge so I especially enjoy color change and complete restyles.
I regularly attend training courses and enjoy keeping up to date with all the current looks and trends. I look forward to welcoming you to the salon and discussing how we can create your signature style!

I am an experienced Barber who is confident with all styles and hair types. From long length cuts to skin fades and beards, I can do it all!
I have been hairdressing for 6 years. I have always had a passion for hairdressing! Challenges are my specialty and I love seeing the glow of our clients when they leave the salon. You can always rely on me for a bubbly chat and setting realistic expectations. Seeing the smile on my clients faces when we’ve achieved their dream hair is my favourite part of the job!
Recently qualified from The London Hairdressing Academy after being inspired by my mum who is a hairdresser and wanting to follow in her footsteps. Learning from Marie and Chelsea has been great so I am excited to start my hairdressing career at The Boathouse Hair Rooms and meeting new clients along the way.
